The Successor

Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

O beloved all murīds of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, beloved all deputies of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim. After the permission of Shaykh Muḥammad and Shaykh Bahāʾuddīn, I will say that I am the first one – Adnān, servant of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim and Mawlānā Shaykh ʿAbdullāh ad-Daghistānī. I am accepting Shaykh Muḥammad qaddasallahu sirrahu, son of Mawlānā, to be the successor of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, spiritually, physically, and [in] all means of high teachings – and make sulūk to everyone to reach to the destination of reaching to the high level of the station of Rasūlullāh (ṣallAllahu ʿalayhi wa sallam) and Sayyidinā Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq.

And I am the first one to make this renew this bayʿah with him and to make him to be our Shaykh after Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, as a follower of what he (Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim) says and what he order. And so, to be well known and no splitting in this Naqshbandī way, in this ṭarīqah, we are all well united and so, all of us, we renew our bayʿah with Shaykh Muḥammad, son of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, that Allah Almighty and Rasūlullāh (ṣallAllahu ʿalayhi wa sallam) choose him to be the successor of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim and dressed by the secrets of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim and Grandshaykh.

And so we follow him, and I am announcing this on behalf of all our brothers and sisters in the Naqshbandī way – that I am the first one obeying and I am the first one renewing my bayʿah with him and accepting him. And so all of you accept! You accept him? (Everyone: Yes!) You accept him? (Everyone: Yes!) You accept him? (Everyone: Yes!)

For this acceptance, Allah Almighty is witnessing, Rasūlullāh witnessing, Grandshaykh witnessing, Sayyidinā Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq witnessing, and Mawlānā Sulṭān al-Awliyāʾ, Habībunā Shaykhuna ash-Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī, witnessing. Especially we are standing on his step, on his feet, kissing his feet and his hands, and promising him that we all accepting and following his will to be Shaykh Muḥammad his successor until Allah Almighty appearing Sayyidinā al-Mahdī (ʿalayhi as-salām), and after Sayyidinā al-Mahdī until the end of the life to how much Shaykh Muḥammad and Shaykh Bahāʾuddīn they are alive – because we are not going to live long lives – they will bury us and they will read Fātiḥah on us. So all our life will be, inshāʾAllah, renewing our bayʿah with them; and they are our Shaykh and we are accepting them and following their order. And no one to think that we are not accepting or anyone to say that there is a doubt – no, there is no doubt.

For sure, for sure, for sure, we are accepting Shaykh Muḥammad as the successor, the khalīf of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī, Sulṭān al-Awliyāʾ – and also the second khalīf, Shaykh Bahāʾuddīn, second son of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, and the deputy of them Mehmet Nāẓim, the son of Shaykh Bahāʾuddīn. And so, everywhere to be known, because today, start in some internet to appear here and there thing which is not very well to my ears coming.

But, to clear everything, we must all renew our bayʿah – all murīds, even old generation, new generation, old ones, young ones, small ones – all to renew the bayʿah with Shaykh Muḥammad, successor of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim and Shaykh Bahāʾuddīn. And to be following the will of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim – it will be much more better that they will not be disconnected but they will be connected with Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, with Grandshaykh, with Rasūlullāh ṣallAllahu ʿalayhi wa sallam, with Allah Almighty.

And so, I am Adnān, servant of Grandshaykh and Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, I am announcing that we accept Shaykh Muḥammad, successor, and we renew our bayʿah with him. And he is our Shaykh from now on, inshāʾAllah, and the successor of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim.
