They Didn’t Know the Value of Allah

Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm,
وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ
“Wa mā qadarūllaha ḥaqqa qadrihi”
“They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal.” (Qur’ān 39:67). ṢadaqAllāhu l-ʿAẓīm.
Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla says, mankind has not appreciated or known Allah with true appraisal. They have never appreciated the Majesty and Greatness of Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla. Some worshipped idols according to their own minds, some worshipped people, some worshipped the moon and the sun. Some accepted nothing at all. These are people who do not know the value and worth of Allah. They worship something according to their own minds. They worshipped their own egos, they worshipped shayṭāns. They abandoned the truth; they abandoned the way of Ḥaqq.
People have gone down the wrong path. They say, “This great man, this small man, this person lived a thousand years ago, five thousand years ago. We worship them, we hold them in high regard.” So, they did not worship Allah, the only One who truly deserves appreciation. They did not worship Him. What they worship are completely useless things. They neither benefit nor harm.
Of course, it will cause you harm. When you worship them, you will have lost. But physically, they just sit there. They neither move nor do you any good. As we said, the damage is not material, but spiritual. The spiritual damage is immense. Spiritual damage is total, utterly detrimental. Nothing comes out of that, not even the slightest bit.
No one can comprehend the Greatness of Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla. But mankind must know it. Because when incidents happen in this world, or something happens to people personally, few turn to Allah.
Many rebel against Allah. They rebel, saying, “Why did this happen? What is this injustice? What is this?” Let alone Allah’s affairs; you couldn’t even interfere in the work of a village headman, a prime minister, or a president. And their affairs are worldly affairs. You can’t even grasp that; how can you interfere in the affairs of Allah, who created the entire universe?
Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla is the One who does everything with His wisdom and mercy. You have no right to ask about it. Asking is the greatest lack of adab and disrespect. It harms you. It’s something that brings no benefit.
Surrender! “أسلم تسلم”, “Aslim Taslam,” “Submit, you’ll find peace.” Enter Islām and attain peace. The religion of all prophets is Islām. But they mixed them up and changed them. They slandered the prophets according to their own minds, “This one did this, that one did that.” And then, they rebelled against Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla. They fell into disbelief.
Therefore, the Muslim is in peace. Everything happens as Allah wills. Nothing happens that He does not will. Therefore, do not rebel. Do not object. If you are going to do anything, make duʿā. Make duʿā.
May Allah grant you peace. May Allah send us the person who will save us soon, whom our Prophet ṣallAllāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam gave good tidings about. When Mahdi ʿalayhi s-salām comes, the truth will come out, oppression will end, and beauty will prevail.
Therefore, we must await this. There is no need to rebel against anything. Who would rejoice if you rebelled as much as you want? Shayṭān would rejoice. And you are the one who loses; no one else. Because even if the entire universe were to oppose Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla, it would not harm Him in the slightest. It would not affect Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla in the slightest. Who are you to speak nonsense, to think you are something, to oppose Him?
We must pay attention to this. Because it’s like a fashion, a trend now. Everyone has made it a habit. It’s become common among some people. They claim to defend justice, saying, “How can Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla not prevent this oppression?”
Everything has its wisdom, its time, its destiny. May Allah ʿAzza wa Jalla protect us from the evil of our egos. May Allah protect us from these evils and from evil people, inshā’Allāh.
Wa min Allahi t-Tawfīq.
Al-Fātiḥa.
